I'm assuming your steering wheel shakes/vibrates when you brake? There is also a universal joint in the steering that also goes bad over time and loses it's strengh/functionability. I'd say you're a master at warping rotors, there is a process for bedding brake pads properly when you get new pads/rotors, so this doesn't happen. I'd first suggest new rotors and tension rod bushings. Get the new ES 3 piece bushings and install them yourself, they are like $30 I think, make a world of a difference.
